Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026
The short version
- LittleLabel gives informational suggestions from an automated scoring system. It is not medical, nutritional, pediatric, safety or other professional advice.
- Scores can be wrong. Always read the physical label, follow the manufacturer's instructions and age grading, and ask your pediatrician.
- No score means a product is safe or unsafe. Allergen and recall detection is not guaranteed.
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple and renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple ID settings.
- You use LittleLabel at your own risk. Our liability is limited, and disputes go to individual arbitration, not class actions (you can opt out within 30 days).

1. Acceptance of these terms
LittleLabel (the "app", and together with this website and related services, the "Service") is operated by VOLTAIXGROUP LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Voltaix Group", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us. By downloading, installing, accessing or using the Service, or by clicking to accept, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Please read section 21 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration and waives your right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action, unless you opt out within 30 days.
2. Not medical, nutritional or safety advice
LittleLabel provides informational suggestions generated by an automated scoring system. It does not provide medical, nutritional, pediatric, allergy, safety, legal or any other professional advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for it.
- Scores are automated estimates. They are produced by software from label text, product images, store listings and public data that may be incomplete, outdated or wrong.
- Automated and AI reading can make mistakes. The app can misread a label, miss or invent an ingredient, misidentify a product or match it to the wrong listing. Manufacturers change formulas and packaging without notice.
- Always read the physical label on the product in your hand, and follow the manufacturer's instructions, warnings and age grading.
- Talk to a professional. Consult your pediatrician, allergist or another qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your child's diet, skincare, sleep, health or safety, especially if your child has an allergy or medical condition, was born premature, or has had a reaction.
- No score means a product is safe or unsafe. A high score is not a safety rating, certification, approval or endorsement. A low score is not a finding that a product is defective, dangerous or unlawful.
- Allergen detection is not guaranteed. The app may fail to flag an allergen, including undeclared allergens, "may contain" or cross-contact warnings, or allergens listed under unfamiliar names.
- Check official recall sources. For recalls, rely on CPSC.gov, FDA.gov and recalls.gov.
- In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number). For a possible poisoning or ingestion, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Do not use the app in an emergency.
Scoring rules may refer to public guidance from bodies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) or the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). These references are our interpretation. We are not affiliated with, reviewed by, or endorsed by any of these organizations, and the Service is not reviewed by doctors or other healthcare professionals. Using the Service does not create a doctor-patient or any other professional relationship.
3. Eligibility and who uses the app
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is designed for parents, legal guardians and adult caregivers of young children. The Service is not directed to children, and children must not use it. When you enter information about a child, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have the parent's or guardian's permission to do so. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
4. What LittleLabel is
LittleLabel lets you create profiles for children aged roughly 0 to 4, photograph baby and toddler products or paste store links, and receive a 0–100 score for a selected child, with the reasons behind it. The app uses automated tools, including third-party AI models, to read product names, ingredients, materials and claims, and applies scoring rules that take into account the profile you entered (such as age, allergies, conditions and preferences). It also compares products against recall notices in our database and may suggest other products that score higher.
A score is our automated opinion of how a product's label fits the profile you entered, under our rules at the time. It is not a statement of fact about any product, brand or manufacturer. Scores, rules, verdicts and features may change at any time, and the same product may score differently over time or for different children.
5. No reliance; your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the decisions you make about the products you buy and use for your child, and for supervising your child. You agree not to rely on the Service as the sole or primary basis for any decision about your child's health, nutrition, allergies, sleep or safety. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter; scores based on incomplete or inaccurate profile information will be less useful. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any reliance on the Service is at your own risk.
6. Recall information
Recall checks compare products with U.S. FDA and CPSC recall notices in our database. That database does not include every recall, may be delayed or out of date, and may fail to match a recalled product (for example, where lot numbers, sizes or dates matter). "No recall found" does not mean a product has not been recalled. We do not promise to notify you of any recall, and any recall alert or in-app flag is provided as is and may be late, incomplete, incorrect or not delivered at all. Always confirm with the official agency notice and the manufacturer.
7. Third-party products, brands, retailers, prices and affiliate links
- No endorsement. Product names, brands and trademarks shown in the Service belong to their owners and are used only to identify products. Their appearance, score or suggestion as an alternative is not an endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation by us, and does not mean any brand or retailer is affiliated with us.
- Affiliate links. Some links to retailers may be affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not change scores.
- Prices and availability shown in or linked from the Service come from third parties, may be out of date or wrong, and may change at any time. The retailer's price at checkout applies.
- Purchases are between you and the retailer. We do not sell, manufacture, ship, warrant or take responsibility for any third-party product, and we are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, policies or practices.
8. Subscriptions, free trials and billing
Most features require a paid subscription. Plans may be offered weekly, monthly or yearly. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Subscriptions bought in the app are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Free trials may be offered to eligible new subscribers on some plans. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically to a paid subscription. Trial eligibility is decided by Apple and generally available once per Apple ID. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions (see /manage). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial periods.
- Price changes. We may change prices. Apple will notify you of a price increase as its rules require and, where required, ask for your consent before it applies.
- Fair use. Subscriptions are for personal, non-commercial use. Some features may have daily or other limits, and we may limit automated, abusive or unusually heavy use.
9. Accounts
You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email address and password. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure, and you must tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time in the app or as described at /delete-account.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; (b) copy, scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract scores, product data or other content, or use it to build a competing product or dataset or to train AI models; (c) reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code, rules or models, except where the law expressly allows; (d) interfere with, overload or circumvent security or usage limits of the Service; (e) access the Service by automated means; (f) upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or contains malware, or photos of identifiable people (including children) that are not needed for a scan; (g) misrepresent scores, present them as an official, medical or safety finding, or use them to disparage a brand or make claims in advertising; (h) resell, sublicense or share your subscription; or (i) impersonate anyone or provide false information.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, scoring rules, scores, text, design, graphics, logos and the "LittleLabel" name, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and your subscription, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
12. Your content and photos
"Your Content" means photos, links, profile information and other material you submit. You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, analyze and modify Your Content to operate, provide, secure and improve the Service, including by sending it to our service providers (such as AI providers that read labels) as described in the Privacy Policy. You may also choose to share results using the app's share features; you are responsible for what you share. You confirm that you have the rights to submit Your Content and that it does not violate any law or anyone's rights. Product information that we derive from your scans (such as a product's name and ingredients, not your personal information) may be kept in our product database and used to improve the Service for all users.
13. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, corrections or other feedback (including "Not right?" reports), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it for any purpose without obligation or compensation to you.
14. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services (for example Apple, Google, RevenueCat and others listed in the Privacy Policy). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their unavailability or errors may affect the Service.
15. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may add, change, suspend or remove any part of the Service, including scoring rules and features, at any time. We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give notice, for example in the app or on this site, before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service, other users or us. On termination, your license ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 2, 5–7, 11–13 and 17–24) survive termination.
17. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all scores, content, recall information, suggestions and other information are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability and quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that any score, ingredient reading, allergen flag, age check or recall check will be accurate or complete, that defects will be corrected, or that any product is safe or suitable for your child.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, those warranties are limited to the shortest period and minimum extent permitted by law.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will VOLTAIXGROUP LLC or its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, licensors or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or use, or for any personal injury, illness, allergic reaction, property damage or death, arising out of or related to the Service or your reliance on any score, content, recall information or suggestion, however caused and under any theory of liability (contract, tort including negligence, strict liability, product liability or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).
These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, and they are an essential basis of the bargain between you and us. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, including for personal injury caused by negligence; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless VOLTAIXGROUP LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your use or misuse of the Service; Your Content; your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right; or any decision you make or action you take based on the Service, including about products used by or for a child in your care.
20. Assumption of risk and release
You understand that products for babies and young children can carry risks that no label, score or app can fully identify, and that automated systems make mistakes. You voluntarily assume all risks of using the Service and of any product you choose to buy or use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release us from claims arising from those risks. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party." You waive any similar law in other jurisdictions.
21. Binding individual arbitration and class action waiver
Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration or a court case, you and we agree to try to resolve any dispute informally for at least 60 days, starting when one side sends written notice describing the claim and the relief requested. Send notices to support@littlelabel.app.
Agreement to arbitrate. Except as stated below, any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (including its formation, scope or enforceability) will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, before a single arbitrator. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitration may be held by video, by phone, on written submissions, or in the county where you live. Payment of AAA fees will follow the AAA Consumer Rules. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could, but only for you individually.
CLASS ACTION AND JURY TRIAL WAIVER. YOU AND WE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU AND WE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims of more than one person. If this class waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim (and only that claim) will be decided in court, after any individual arbitration is finished.
Exceptions. Either side may (a) bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies and stays there, and (b) seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
Mass filings. If 25 or more similar demands are filed by or with the help of the same counsel or coordinated parties, they may be administered in batches under the AAA's mass arbitration procedures, and the statute of limitations is tolled while they wait.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms to support@littlelabel.app (subject "Arbitration opt-out"), including your name, the email address on your account, and a clear statement that you opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
Changes. If we change this section, you may reject the change by notice within 30 days of it taking effect, and the prior version will continue to apply to you.
22. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Subject to section 21, any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live.
23. Apple App Store terms
If you got the app from Apple's App Store, these additional terms apply, and the app is also licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement to the extent it is not inconsistent with these Terms:
- Parties. These Terms are between you and VOLTAIXGROUP LLC only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Scope of license. Your license is a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for any maintenance and support of the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support.
- Warranty. To the extent any warranty is not effectively disclaimed, we are solely responsible for it. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, subject to these Terms.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including (i) product liability claims, (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and (iii) claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with U.S. export laws.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms (such as your wireless carrier's) when using the app.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to us: VOLTAIXGROUP LLC, support@littlelabel.app.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
24. General
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of these Terms stays in effect.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace prior agreements on that subject.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them, including in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Notices. We may give you notice in the app, by email or on this site. Notices to us go to the contact details below.
- Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation".
- California users. Under California Civil Code section 1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.
